Patrick Henry No. 1 in Final Rankings

SAN DIEGO — Though most things change, some just stay the same. Such has been the case for San Diego County’s top-ranked baseball team, Patrick Henry High School.
While the teams below them in the rankings have jumped in and out of the ratings or changed positions frequently, the Patriots have remained in the top spot all season. Last week, Patrick Henry wound up a perfect 10-0 City Eastern League slate by defeating Morse.
Meanwhile, Mount Carmel continued its hot play, winning two more games to extend its winning streak to 10 in a row and move into this week’s No. 2 spot.
All of this season’s league titlists are represented this week, except for Metro-South Bay champion Chula Vista and Metro-Mesa champion Bonita Vista.
