Suspect Sought in Rape of Burbank Woman

Burbank police said Saturday they are searching for a man who raped a 40-year-old Burbank woman, then fled, leaving the woman tied to her 12-year-old son.
According to police, the woman awoke at about 4 a.m. Thursday to find an armed man in her room. After ransacking the house, the man raped her, then forced her into her son’s room.
The man tied the woman and her son up back-to-back, then fled through the front door of the home with a small amount of money, police said. Nothing else was taken, they added.
Authorities said it took the woman and the boy about an hour to break loose and call police.
