Mariner’s Landing, a development of 37 single-family homes with Spanish red-tile roofs and stucco siding in earth tones, opens today in eastern Chula Vista with 16 homes.
Priced from $142,900 to $168,900 with VA, FHA and conventional financing, the houses will include three bedrooms and a den or four bedrooms, two or 2 1/2 baths and 1,820 to 2,412 square feet in four floor plans.
Features will include wood-burning fireplaces, mahogany entry doors, and polished-brass entry-door and interior hardware. There is a choice of a two- or three-car garage, all with direct-home access.
Mariner’s Landing is a project of McMillin Development Inc. within the $200-million master-planned community of Terra Nova, a project of Great American Development Co., a subsidiary of Great American First Savings Bank.
The models and sales office are open Saturday and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 352 Bay Leaf Drive, reached from the East H Street exit of Interstate 805. First move-ins are scheduled in September.
