Despite urgings by authorities that he stay away because of public sentiment against him over the killing of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, Dan White reportedly has made several visits to his San Francisco home since his one-year parole ended last Jan. 6. The San Francisco Chronicle said neighbors told of seeing him weeding his garden and playing with his children in the yard. KGO-TV reported that the man visiting the home claimed to be White’s brother. White, 38, a former policeman and San Francisco supervisor, spent more than five years in prison for the 1978 assassinations in City Hall.
