An all-city high school football star from suburban Sacramento has been arrested in the kidnaping and rape of a 12-year-old girl, authorities said. Michael Halvorsen, 18, who graduated earlier this month from Elk Grove High School, was being held in lieu of $35,000 bail on charges that he abducted the sleeping girl from a camper outside her home and forced her into numerous sex acts in a nearby field, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Harsh said. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound linebacker was captured after the victim broke away and ran for help, Harsh said.
