The body of an unidentified man with a rock tied around his waist was pulled from the Quivira Basin area of Mission Bay on Tuesday morning, a coroner’s spokesman said.
The body of the man, described as being 40 to 50 years old, was discovered floating face down by a passing fishing boat, the spokesman said. The dead man was about 6 feet tall, wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and brown sandals. An autopsy revealed no signs of violence, the spokesman said.
