Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi was quoted by the leftist Egyptian weekly newspaper Al Ahali as saying he has stopped sending military aid to rebels in southern Sudan since the April coup that deposed President Jaafar Numeiri. Kadafi reportedly added that he wants the southerners to negotiate with the new military government in Khartoum.
