Denny Huang was convicted in San Jose by a federal court jury of illegal importing, copyright violation, making false statements to customs officials and two counts of conspiracy involving people he hired to assemble and sell the computers, said Assistant U.S. Atty. Eric Fisher. Huang operated a computer assembly shop in Cupertino, Calif. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 18.
