The International Trade Commission said Mitsubishi Electric must post a bond on its double-sided floppy disk drives imported into the the United States until Tandon’s complaint that the Japanese company pirated its disk-drive technology is resolved. Separately, Chatsworth-based Tandon said it has formally accused Mitsubishi of predatory pricing and has requested that floppy disk drive imports from 14 smaller Japanese companies be prohibited.
