Water Pipe Break Closes Niguel Road

A broken water main caused a cave-in and the closure of Niguel Road between Alicia Parkway and Running Deer Lane in Laguna Niguel on Wednesday, and police said the roadway would probably remain closed until this afternoon.
A California Highway Patrol spokesman said county road crews were working to repair the road, while police diverted traffic from the caved-in portion.
