New York investor Ivan F. Boesky and a group of companies that he controls reported that they have increased their stake in SCM Corp to 12.1% from 8.7% . . . Kasler Corp. said it will omit its third-quarter cash dividend, which would have been payable in mid-October . . . McKesson Corp. said it plans to repurchase up to 225,000 shares of its common stock, which will then be used in connection with the acquisition of Mass Merchandisers . . . Pacific Southwest Airlines reported that it flew 322 million revenue passenger miles in August, up 8.7% from a year earlier. And Jet America Airlines said it flew 20.9% more miles last month than a year earlier . . . The Department of Water and Power reported electric production for last week rose 20.5% from the week before.
