Silk More Than Smooth; He’s Also a Class Act

We often use sports as a metaphor for good and evil. The latest example of this seems to me the release of Jamaal Wilkes by the Lakers and the possible NBA clearance of John (Hot Rod) Williams of Tulane. Williams, if cleared, should perhaps be barred from the NBA anyway; unfortunately, a sacrificial lamb is needed at this point to prevent any future scandal.
On the other hand, I hope Wilkes can hook on with another team. A lot of people say he’s a class act. I disagree; he’s been pure class with no act involved at all.
