UCSD Wins Pair, Meets Pepperdine

UC San Diego won a match in overtime and another in a landslide Friday in the opening round of a men’s water polo tournament at Pepperdine.
The Tritons (2-1) opened the tournament with a 6-5 overtime win over Claremont-Mudd, then routed Loyola Marymount, 24-5. The victories placed the Tritons against Pepperdine in the morning, with the winner advancing to the championship game this afternoon.
