Quarterback Albert Arteaga completed his first pass of the game to Danny Perez for a 23-yard TD late in the third quarter to give Salesian a 7-0 lead. . . . Junior defensive back Louis Ovalles intercepted a Jason Ornstein pass and returned it 24 yards for a TD that gave the Mustangs a 14-0 lead, also late in the third quarter. . . . Ornstein fumbled on the Oak Park one-yard line in the fourth quarter. Victor Duran recovered for Salesian. . . . The Mustangs then got their third TD on Ron Rivota’s one-yard run to close out the scoring.
