The publisher of USA Today and 85 other daily newspapers said it will sell the broadcasting properties to comply with Federal Communications Commission rules governing its pending acquisition of Evening News Assn. of Detroit. The media company said in papers filed with the FCC that it will sell ENA’s radio stations in Detroit and Oklahoma City before it completes the merger. It asked for a one-year extension to sell ENA’s TV stations in Tucson and in Mobile, Ala.
