The Maywood City Council unanimously adopted an ordinance Tuesday banning vendors who sell merchandise from stands, trucks, wagons and pushcarts.
Exceptions are made for charitable organizations involved in fund-raising, delivery persons, persons having garage sales with a permit and catering trucks parked on private property.
