‘The Reagan World View’

Those of us who have always known President Reagan is tall in the saddle when it comes to nuclear arms negotiations can only hope that his change of leads from nuclear disarmament to “a regional peace process” is for the benefit of the Third World folks back up in the stands.
But we also know you don’t rope a bear from the back of a parade horse, and that the folks down ringside, like West Germany and the Low Countries, won’t be admiring his two-track, they’ll be watching the bear.
