Pictures Don’t Lie

Several years ago, I took pictures of the village church at Stoke Poges, England, where Thomas Gray wrote his “Elegy.”
Except for the large stained-glass window, they don’t look much like the replica at Forest Lawn, which I have never seen, that was depicted in Gaston Lokvig’s Cityscape drawing in The Times (Oct. 20).
I assume his drawing is accurate, so it must not be a very good replica. NORMAN LEIST Canoga Park
