Forward Tim Surridge had 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead Christ College of Irvine to its first basketball victory of the season, an 88-43 triumph over San Jose Bible College in the third-place game of the San Jose Bible College Tournament.
Robert Pollatta added 14 points, Darren Bean 12 and Paul Wear 10 for Christ College (1-1). San Jose Bible College is 0-4.
