The manager of a fast food restaurant in Indianapolis was shot to death after offering himself as a hostage in place of a female employee during a robbery, authorities said. The two holdup men escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, homicide Detective Fred L. Jackson said. Bible, 24, to open the store’s safe, then shot him in the back of the head.
