Ganesha High’s Cutler Signs to Play Basketball With Titans

Kevin Cutler, a 6-foot 6-inch swingman at Ganesha High School in Pomona, Sunday signed a basketball letter of intent to attend Cal State Fullerton.
Cutler averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds a game to help Ganesha post a 20-1 record in summer league play this year. He said he signed with Fullerton during the early fall signing period because, “I’d already made up my mind and didn’t see any reason to wait.”
“I have a friend, pitcher Mike Harkey, who plays at Fullerton and he first told me about the school,” Cutler said. “Then I visited Fullerton and I liked what I saw. I also like the Titan coaches and their style of play is just like ours here.”
Cutler, an aggressive defender and shot blocker, said he felt like he would fit right into Coach George McQuarn’s defense-oriented system.
