Black Utah Legislator to Run Against Sen. Garn

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s only black state senator says he will challenge U.S. Sen. Jake Garn (R-Utah) next year. State Sen. Terry Williams, a Democrat, said Friday that his campaign will be focused on Garn’s voting record.
