The Nation : Bomb Threats in San Juan

Bomb threats forced evacuation of hundreds of people from a San Juan, Puerto Rico, hospital treating hotel fire survivors and an inn where officials of the ruined Dupont Plaza Hotel had set up a temporary office. Seven sites were threatened but no bombs were found. Police said they found no connection between the threats and the hotel fire. One building threatened was the U.S. commonwealth’s Justice Department, which is coordinating the investigation into the New Year’s Eve blaze that killed 96 people and injured more than 140 at the hotel. The fire officially has been termed an arson.
