Short-term Treasury securities rates declined.

Interest rates on short-term Treasury securities declined for the third week in a row, falling to the lowest level since October. The Treasury Department sold $7.02 billion in three-month bills at an average discount rate of 5.23%, down from 5.38% last week. Another $7.02 billion was sold in six-month bills at an average discount rate of 5.27%, down from 5.43% last week.
