Rockwell Corp. Unit Gets $16.5-Million Contract

Rockwell International Corp. said that its Collins Defense Communications unit has received a contract worth $16.5 million from the Department of Defense and that work on the contract will be carried out at Collins’ facility in Santa Ana.
The contract, with a top value of $36 million should all its options be exercised, calls for Rockwell to develop and produce electronic communications equipment.
