Anchor Hocking will be acquired for $330 million.

Under the agreement, Anchor Hocking Inc. will be acquired by a newly formed holding company that also would be the parent of Rockford, Ill.-based Newell Co., said Anchor Hocking spokesman Al Lewis. The deal is subject to approval by both companies’ stockholders and should be completed within three to four months, Lewis said. Lancaster, Ohio-based Anchor Hocking manufactures glass products and other housewares.
