WHERE’S TOPS IN POPS?
As a teen, one of my biggest joys was to buy The Times and read Tops in Pops weekly. Since I couldn’t afford Billboard and had no musical talent, this was my only bridge to that vast world of music. I have photo albums filled with clips of Top in Pops.
Now I’m 35, I can afford Billboard, but I’m still hooked on Tops in Pops. I get depressed when I haven’t got change for the paper.
Now you’ve taken Tops in Pops out again. Please put in back before I get any older.

Tops in Pops, now known as Pop Charts and in a different format, has left its Sunday Calendar home for its new digs in Friday Calendar, where it can be found each week on Page 2 at the bottom of Morning Report.
