Women with college degrees earn about the same as men with only one to three years of high school, and working women make only 64 cents for every dollar men earn, says a survey for National Secretaries’ Week, April 19-25. The study also found that 80% of working women earn less than $19,000 a year. “We’re shocked to see how bad things still are for working women,” said Karen Nussbaum, executive director of 9 to 5, National Assn. of Working Women, which drafted the “Profile of Working Women.”
