Justine Bateman, Melissa Gilbert and Marlee Matlin were among 500 people who celebrated the first anniversary Wednesday night of Young Artists United at a benefit dinner and sock hop at Ed Debevic’s Short Order. “These are the people who will be leaders in the industry in a few years,” said Daniel Sladek, co-founder of the organization that includes 200 actors, managers, agents, publicists and hundreds of supporters.
