Mater Dei’s Ickes Gets 200th Win

Bob Ickes, Mater Dei High School baseball coach, got his 200th career coaching victory Monday as the Monarchs defeated Bishop Montgomery, 12-2, in an Angelus League baseball game at Bishop Montgomery.
Ickes is 200-104-7 in 13 years at Mater Dei.
Jim Austin was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, driving in three runs, and Brad Neglia was 3 for 4 with a double and three runs batted in to lead the Monarchs (8-4, 14-6). Bishop Montgomery is 1-11 in league.
