Team Named to Review Launch Process

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — NASA appointed a six-member team of top managers Friday to review launch guidelines for the shuttle and unmanned rockets in the wake of criticism over its launch decision process.
The team will be headed by astronaut Robert L. Crippen, deputy director of shuttle operations, and Joseph Mahon, in charge of flight systems at the space agency’s headquarters in Washington.
