Florida Top Destination of Middle-Aged, Elderly

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — More middle-age and elderly people are migrating to Florida than to any other state, a Florida State University professor concluded in a study released Friday. Florida leads all other states in net migration among two groups: age 55 to 64 and 65 and older, according to William J. Serow of the university’s Center for Population Studies.
