Wasn’t It a Dodger Who Started the Whole Thing?

As a Giant fan, I got sort of a perverse thrill when old Mike Marshall pointed the finger at Roger Craig. Mad that he was showing up our manager, glad that a rivalry that has been dormant too long was suddenly starting to rumble.

Here’s to a healthy, hard-fought, exciting, intrastate rivalry. May the Giants or Dodgers win the division, may the fireworks stay inside the white lines and may Cincinnati lose 80 games.
