NOT MAD FOR ‘MAD’

I’m a little confused about the piece you presented concerning the film, “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” (Outtakes, by Charles A. Johnson, May 3).

I’ve always felt that instead of locating the missing 38 minutes, we should be thinking of ways to destroy the remaining 154.
