Valley Hilton Undergoes Renovation

The Valley Hilton, the first major hotel built in the San Fernando Valley, has undergone a $2.5-million renovation, and additional remodeling will bring the total to $3 million.
The 216-room, 13-story hotel at 15433 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, was opened in 1968 and is owned by Ventura-Orion Motor Lodge Co.
As part of the first phase, all rooms, the lobby and meeting and banquet facilities were completely redecorated. Architecture and design was by the Bannister Group, Los Angeles.
