I’m really pleased with the Los Angeles Times Magazine. “Bukowski” (March 22, by Paul Ciotti) was great and a welcome surprise. As with Tom Waits, we have some incredibly talented people who are connected with Los Angeles in one way or another, who rarely are given recognition by a publication serving as broad an audience as The Times does.
