Joys of Britain

This is in regards to Peter Wilford and his chauffeured tours of England, Scotland and Wales. My wife and I enjoyed a week in his care last spring. As you suggested, he plans the route and makes all reservations in advance, according to his passengers’ tastes and purse.
He or his drivers provide a Rolls-Royce (for up to four people) or a smaller car (Mercedes-Benz). He prefers to average 100 to 125 miles per day, but will stretch that, if necessary. In 1986, the daily charge for the Rolls was $375. It was $250 for the Mercedes. It may cost a bit more this year. Each tour, plus accommodations, are individually planned.
If you want to travel the British Isles without worries, in good company, and with a courteous, knowledgeable, efficient driver, I can strongly recommend Wilford. Best of all, he’s a thoroughly honest man.
