Woody Allen said that the child he and actress Mia Farrow are expecting was unplanned. The 51-year-old film maker added that he has no intention either of marrying or moving in with Farrow. “I was very surprised (by her pregnancy),” Allen acknowledged in an interview with the Associated Press. “We were both surprised. It was nothing that we were planning particularly. It was just a sudden surprise and we were both sort of happy about it.” Allen said that he’s looking forward to the challenge of fatherhood. “I think I’ll be profoundly wise and generous, liberal, understanding,” he said. “I’d be surprised if I’d be less than perfect as a father.”
