Southern California College Loses, 10-3

Darren Kimura hit a solo home run in the sixth and Lance Suyama hit a three-run homer in the same inning to help lift the University of Hawaii-Hilo over Southern California College, 10-3, Thursday in the first round of the Area 1 NAIA baseball playoffs at Oregon City, Ore.
Eduardo Andrews was the winning pitcher; Steve Overeem was charged with the loss.
SCC plays Lewis and Clark of Oregon today at noon in the double-elimination tournament.
