For the six months ended June 30, the company reported a net loss of $34,473, compared with net income of $239,069 a year earlier. Sales for the first half were $7.9 million, up 25% from $6.3 million in 1986.
The company, which manufactures test and measurement equipment used in laser research and other areas, attributed the losses to lower than expected sales and increased investments in product development and marketing.
