Delphi Reports Profit; Reversing Year-Ago Loss

Delphi Information Systems reported a fiscal first-quarter profit of $21,000, or 1 cent a share, against a year-earlier loss of $566,000. Revenue rose 58% to $5.2 million from $3.3 million.
Delphi, headquartered in Westlake Village, develops and markets computer software for use by independent agents in the property/casualty insurance business. The company had its first stock sale to the public this past July 1.
