Sun Valley Man Shot at Wedding Party Dies

A 23-year-old Sun Valley man has died after being shot during an argument at a wedding reception in a North Hollywood union hall, authorities said Monday.
The victim, Martin Esquivel, was shot in the head shortly after midnight Sunday in front of the United Auto Workers hall in the 11600 block of Sherman Way, said Los Angeles Police Lt. Ron LaRue.
Esquivel was taken to Serra Memorial Health Center in Sun Valley, where he died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, police said. A juvenile whose name was not released was being sought in his death, LaRue said.
