Norway Asked to Join Soviet Space Program

OSLO — The Soviet Union has asked Norway to cooperate in Moscow’s civilian space program and invited a Norwegian delegation to Moscow to discuss details this fall, a government spokesman said Monday.
Per Paust said it was not clear what form the cooperation would take. The invitation followed a recent visit to Oslo by the director of the Soviet space institute and had been expected in government circles.
