Nunn to Make Decision on ’88 Campaign by Fall

WASHINGTON — Sen. Sam Nunn (D-Ga.) said Monday he expects to make a decision on the race for the Democratic presidential nomination by late summer or early fall.
Nunn, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said he has been meeting with campaign experts and doing “some serious thinking” about the race.
