Six people remained hospitalized after as many as 1,000 fell when wooden bleachers collapsed Sunday at Central Michigan Dragway, injuring 35 and sending 18 to area hospitals.
The accident occurred while thousands of spectators watched the Winston Pro National Drag Races at McBride, Mich.
