Modernization of Elevators Starts in Office Building

What is reportedly the largest elevator modernization project to be undertaken on the West Coast is under way at the Century City Plaza office building, 1801 Century Park East.
The $1-million, 11-elevator project will be completed in the first quarter of 1988. The work involves new controls and remodeling of the elevator cabs.
