Matt Bullard, leading scorer and rebounder for the University of Colorado basketball team the past two seasons, says he will transfer to the University of Iowa.

Bullard, a 6-foot 10-inch, 210-pound forward from West Des Moines, Iowa, announced last month he would not return to Colorado. Bullard said he wants to play for a team that has a chance to make the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. tournament. He will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
