Reagan’s Speech on the Contras
President Reagan, in a speech to a Nebraska audience (Part I, Aug. 14) on his way to California, announced he would devote the last 17 months of his presidency pursuing the conservative reforms he has ardently advocated, “taking no time off for good behavior.” He then headed off for a month’s vacation at his ranch. Once again Ronnie’s words and his behavior are in direct contradiction to each other.
