A small growth on Katharine Hepburn’s vocal cords has delayed production on the TV movie “Guest Appearance” until April. Hepburn had been scheduled to start filming today in Vancouver. “Because her voice is temporarily impaired, we cannot see any alternative but to hold production for six months,” producer Merrill Karpf and director George Schaefer said in a joint statement. “We have been assured rest and treatment will enable Miss Hepburn to take up her role again.”
