Ronnie Shields and Rodolfo Gonzalez will fight Friday night in a scheduled 10-round super-lightweight bout at the Sports Arena. Shields, who has a 25-3 record with 19 knockouts, is the World Boxing Council’s fourth-ranked contender. Gonzalez, 39-4-1 with 29 knockouts, is the WBC’s fifth-rated contender.
